The founders experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find senior living and memory care that truly feels like home. Located in the Knoxville area, Emory Mills reflects the warmth and sense of belonging that make this region special. Through a partnership with the Hearthstone Institute and the I'm Still Here® philosophy, we focus on remaining abilities, purpose, and meaningful engagement at every stage of life.
Our specially trained team takes time to know each resident as an individual. Daily life is shaped by personal interests and shared experiences, from cooking and choir to conversations, clubs, and community involvement. Every day offers opportunities for connection, joy, and meaning.

When we recognized an unmet need for research-based memory support in East Tennessee, we intentionally built a community designed to serve seniors and their families right here in Knoxville. Our team honors the whole person, celebrating dignity, autonomy, and the capacity for joy and connection at every stage of cognitive change.
